Harley’s new Sportster S is a sensational-looking machine, but its satellite-style taillight and license plate hanger looks funky and tacked on to some eyes. Corbin’s Rear Fender/Undertail kit relocates the assembly behind the tailsection to clean up the look of the rear end. Read more in the press release below.

Corbin Saddles Rear Fender/Undertail

The Sportster S is a truly striking machine… but we have to ask, “What’s up with all the swingarm-mounted contraptions nowadays?” We’re sure there are loads of folks that love this arrangement and that’s great. For the rest of us, we have a solution.

As you can see, taking a few bits off the back end and converting to a small fender, like this one, really cleans things up visually. The Corbin fender also provides a stylish extension to keep the road grime from slinging off the rear tire and onto your passenger.

Wait… did somebody say “Passenger?” Although this system negates the ability to use the HD passenger backrest, it works just fine with the HD pillion pad. Naturally, it works even better with the Corbin Gunfighter & Lady Smuggler seat.

Constructed of durable ABS with a steel support structure, the Corbin undertail kit provides an integrated appearance with lines that emulate the Sportster. It comes prepainted to coordinate with the factory colors and utilizes your factory lighting components transferred from the bumper mount.

The Corbin undertail kit includes a black license plate frame to complete the look and comes pre-bent to conform to the shape of the fender. Naturally, you will need to curve your license plate to match.

While we wouldn’t go so far as to say that installation is simple, we WILL say that it is not difficult although a bit time consuming. Complete instructions are included as well as all required hardware.

They say a picture is worth 1,000 words, so we’ll let the images above speak for themselves. Enjoy.
