It started with the 1967 Triumph TR6 “Desert Sled” owned by singer k.d. lang. Then they included the Trophy TR5 Scrambler that was ridden by Fonzie in the hit TV sitcom, Happy Days. And now two American made bikes have been added to the auction block at Bonham’s Classic California Sale. Held this Saturday, November 12 at the Peterson Auto Museum in Los Angeles, the list of “celebrity” consignment motorcycles now includes a 2008 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Custom owned by Matt Sorum, drummer for Guns N’ Roses and founding member of Velvet Revolver. A second Heritage Softail Custom, a 1998 model owned by Sully Erna, lead singer of Godsmack, will also be up for grabs. Go to www.bonhams.com/peterson to order a catalog and to register to bid (in person or remotely).
