We all appreciate the finer things in life – comfy baggers, a well-tuned exhaust system, and quality motorcycle publications. We think you’ll agree that American Rider deserves a place on a list of products that deserve your hard-earned money.

It wasn’t that long ago when dozens of motorcycle magazines were available, with several of them covering the American V-Twin market. But as the publishing industry has evolved, most of them have gone by the wayside, casting themselves into the same dustbin of history as Excelsior-Henderson and Crocker.

But we’re still standing, and we won’t give up on the American V-Twin market. To adapt to the changing media landscape, we’ve been adjusting our mix of content to evolve into a multimedia brand. You can get your V-Twin fix with us 24-7, whether in our print or digital editions, on our website and social media channels, in video, or via our e-newsletters.

You’ll see more frequent stories posted on AmericanRider.com – the best place to keep abreast of all the latest news – and we’ve been shifting some resources to enhance our video content on our YouTube page. We’re also regularly posting news on social media, so we encourage you to follow us on our Facebook and Instagram channels.

But to ensure our long-term viability, management has decided to make some adjustments that will affect the frequency of our issues. Advertising support is weakest in the wintertime, so we’ll be packing most of our issues into warm-weather months and will reduce our publication rate to six issues per year.

This new scheduling will allow us to ensure the issues arriving in your mailboxes and inboxes are more robust so you’ll have extra content to peruse. And for our print subscribers, you’ll continue appreciating the luxurious paper we’ve been using for the past several years. We want you to have a premium experience while you’re along for a ride with us, and we’re grateful to visit your homes.

To take advantage of all the great events happening in the summer months, we’ll be delivering issues from February through October. The June and July issues will be delivered monthly, while the other issues will be combined into February/March, April/May, August/September, and October/November.

Don’t worry about being short-changed. Our subscribers will receive the same number of issues originally paid for. Additionally, the annual subscription rate for printed editions will be reduced to $26.97. Digital subs are only $7.99.

We’ll also be launching new features across our digital channels. The “Bike Builder of the Month” will explore the latest news from the industry’s heaviest hitters and will be delivered on our website and on our YouTube channel. And we’ll be revisiting our roots by deploying digital throwback issues from some of our favorite eras of motorcycling.

American Rider Cover Array
American Rider is evolving into more of a multimedia brand, but our hearts will always belong to our magazines. If you’re not yet a subscriber, do us both a favor and support motorcycle journalism rather than “influencers” and AI gibberish.

As always, we encourage you to click on the ads seen on the pages of our digital issues and on our website so advertisers know that AR is a conduit to their businesses. These companies support our efforts to deliver a high-level experience for you, so you can pay that forward by supporting them.

I regularly see posts on social media that lament the fact that motorcycle magazines don’t exist anymore. Since you’re reading this, you know that’s not true, and you obviously like what you see. Don’t keep it a secret – tell all your moto-loving friends about the enjoyment you get from American Rider and get them to join our clubhouse!
