What do you get when you have some of the best pros in flat track, legendary dirt track champions, Bultaco Astro 360s and a groomed oval race track? Damn good TV! And we all have the chance to watch what goes down on June 9.
This head-to-head racing will feature some of the world’s top flat track pros, including factory Indian’s Jared Mees, Vance & Hines/H-D’s Bryan Smith, ‘Slammin’ Sammy Halbert and multi-disciplined star Ryan Sipes, who just walked away with third place in the recent MOTO FITE Klub.
The challengers – some of the biggest legends to ever strap on a steel shoe – include three-time Grand National Champion inductee Jay Springsteen, Grand National Champion “Smokin” Joe Kopp, nine-time Grand National Champ and Hall of Famer Scott Parker, and seven-time Grand National Champion, Hall of Famer, and “fastest man on two wheels” – and Thunder Press columnist – Chris Carr.
Legends and pros will all be aboard vintage Bultaco Astro motorcycles provided by the folks at Campbell Racing, Estenson Racing/Mike Weddington, Hawkins Brothers Racing and Major Green Racing.
And not only are these guys and teams coming together to offer a live racing event for fans during this difficult time, but Flattrack FIT Klub is partnering with the Rookies Class of ’79 and Friends charity to raise money for injured riders via auctions of the participating riders’ steel shoes, helmets, number plates and more.
This very first Flattrack FITE Club event will take place on Tuesday, June 9th. And while it’s all going down at an undisclosed location, fans can watch exclusively on FITE Pay Per View. For more information, and to get behind columnist Chris Carr during the event, simply visit
