Harley-Davidson’s LiveWire brand has confirmed the pricing and dates of availability for the S2 Del Mar, the second model from the brand after the range-topping LiveWire One.

S2 Del Mar Launch Edition Preview

The S2 Del Mar is priced at $15,499 in the U.S. and will be available this July in three colorways: Nimbus Gray, Nightfall Blue, and Asphalt Black. The bikes will be assembled at Harley-Davidson Vehicle Operations in York, Pennsylvania. LiveWire claims it weighs 431 lb and can accelerate to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds thanks to a purported 84 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque.

The bike is said to be capable of a 110-mile range when ridden in the city, a number that will drop at higher speeds. Recharging is via Level 2 chargers, not the quicker Level 3 DC Fast Charging as seen in the One. The company claims a charge from 20% to 80% will require 75 minutes. Full specifications will be published in June, along with a calendar of events and demo opportunities.

LiveWire Goes Public

For our European friends, the S2 Del Mar Launch Edition will be limited to 100 units. It is graced with a unique Himalaya White finish that is applied by hand using a process that supposedly takes five days to complete. Reservations open up on April 27 and will require a €100 deposit.

The Launch Edition of S2 Del Mar is planned for delivery in Europe this September for around €20,000 (including VAT), depending on whether it’s sold in France, Germany, Netherlands or the UK.

The LiveWire S2 Del Mar brings electrifying performance to showrooms in July.
