STURGIS, S.D.,April 9–The Sturgis Buffalo Chip announced this week that seven-time Grammy nominated artist and pop culture icon Rob Zombie will headline an aggressive lineup during the night of hard rock at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip on Wednesday, August 7. Rob Zombie, on tour following the April 2013 release of his new album, will take the stage after Mastodon and Machine Head rile up the crowd during the 2013 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
Rob Zombie has sold over 15 million albums worldwide and brings a thrill to the audience that can only be understood if seen with your own eyes. Previously with White Zombie, the 2009 album Hillbilly Deluxe established Zombie as a standalone artis. Zombie further pushed the limits producing films such as Devil Rejects and the remake film Halloween, which was a top box office seller and garnered him multiple award nominations including Best Director. Some of Zombie’s soon-to-be-released work includes the Lords of Salem movie release and his new album Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor, both due out in April 2013. Zombie is sure to make a dramatic and memorable impact during the 2013 summer music lineup at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip.

The 32nd annual Sturgis Buffalo Chip Motorcycle and Music Festival takes place August 2-11 during the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
