New Location ~ New Dates ~ Concert Headliners

Lancaster, Calif. —Antelope Valley Harley-Davidson’s 21st annual Thunder on the Lot is on the move to Lancaster City Park, 43063 North 10th St. West, Lancaster, CA 93534. With the advent of the 21st year of Thunder on the Lot, event organizers have gone into partnership with the City of Lancaster in order to freshen up and revamp the largest fundraiser in the Antelope Valley.

This year Thunder on the Lot takes place on a new weekend, June 26–28. Thunder will kick off again on Lancaster Blvd. with the Thunder Cruise-in on Friday, June 26 at 6 p.m. Last year’s inaugural cruise was such a huge hit that the addition of the Friday night open header cruise will now be a permanent feature of the annual Thunder on the Lot. The main event takes place on Saturday, the 27th and Sunday the 28th. Thunder opens at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. General admission on Saturday is $10 per person with ages 10 and under free. Seating for the headline concert is first come, first served. Tickets are available for purchase beginning at 12 p.m. on June 27th. Sunday’s admission is free.

This year Thunder on the Lot presents, “The Best of Thunder” with many of Thunder’s most popular bands returning to celebrate some great performances beginning with Foghat as Saturday night’s headline artist performing at 9 p.m. on the Bike Show Stage. A legacy in the making, the classic rockers have produced Gold records, one Platinum record “Fool For The City” (1975), and one Double-Platinum record “Foghat Live” (1977). The “Fool For The City” album contained Foghat’s trademark Top 40 hit song “Slow Ride” and cemented their place as one of the world’s top rock acts. They’re also known for their hits “Fool For The City,” “Drivin’ Wheel” and “I Just Want To Make Love To You.”

On Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Thunder favorite, Damage Inc., Metallica Tribute Band will open for Foghat, and on Sunday at 4 p.m., Bostyx a Boston and Styx Tribute Band will headline the stage along with the return of the incredible Doors Tribute Band, Peace Frog performing at 2:30 p.m. on the bike show stage.

Thunder on the Lot features a major motorcycle show, classic/custom cars shows, an early morning poker run, go kart races, import car show, low rider car show, motorcycle stunt riders, a burn out contest, beer gardens, live music on two stages all day, major raffle giveaways including a brand new Harley-Davidson motorcycle, community stage performances, never-ending $1 raffles, kids games, carnival, various food booths, over 100 vendors and much more. Thunder on the Lot benefits 25 children’s charity organizations. Year to date Thunder on the Lot has raised and distributed over 4.2 million dollars for children in the Antelope Valley who need it most.
