Utilizing your OEM stocklength primary chain, this kit provides a 6-percent reduction in gearing that improves acceleration and makes 6th gear more viable. Eliminating the compensator reduces the spinning weight by 4.8 pounds and makes for easier starting. As part of the kit, a manual chain tensioner provides for exact chain adjustment, increasing engine, transmission and primary bearing life. Manufactured 100 percent in the USA, this kit will require an ECM recalibration to adjust for the cruise control and for the 6th gear indicator to function properly.
