Ready to face off against Harley-Davidson dealers from across the country, Hall’s Harley-Davidson in Springfield will unveil its creation in the Custom Kings National Dealer Competition.

Hall’s staffers have been laboring for weeks designing and building the bike that they have declared “the baddest Sportster on the planet.” This new creation will be unveiled at a special event this Saturday, February 27, from 2–4 p.m. at Hall’s Harley-Davidson, 2301 N. Dirksen Parkway, Springfield, Ill.

Harley-Davidson has challenged its dealers around the country to embrace the Custom Kings challenge as part of the company’s commitment to redefining performance. As the company puts it, every motorcycle tells a story. Each detail paints a picture, sets a tone and delivers a style to showcase the individuality of the builders and the rider. Every bike is a custom of one design. Each dealership team is working to build the ultimate customized Harley-Davidson Sportster.

“We’re inviting the public to Saturday’s event to witness the first-ever public display of our creation,” said Larry Hughes of Hall’s Harley-Davidson. “We’ve spent eight weeks putting everything we’ve got into this creation. This will be the chance for local motorcycle lovers to see our bike, meet the creative team, enjoy a beverage and get the whole story about its creation before we head into battle against other dealerships from all over the country.”

The Hall’s creation will be judged by Harley-Davidson’s national styling team. The top 64 entries will then be presented for consumer voting online during March and April, after which the U.S. Custom Kings will be crowned and ultimately displayed at the Harley-Davidson Museum.
