Harley-Davidson adds to its Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection with the new “Fast Johnnie” paint scheme. Available as a factory-direct custom paint and graphic treatment, the package is available for the 2023 Low Rider ST, Street Glide ST, and Road Glide ST models. Production is limited to 2,000 units of each model globally.
Harley’s Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection celebrates Harley-Davidson riders and their legacies. The collection began last year with the 2022 G.I. Enthusiast Collection, a paint scheme available for the Tri Glide Ultra and Pan America 1250 Special which honored riders who have served or are serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

The 2023 Fast Johnnie Enthusiast Collection draws inspiration from the high-performance muscle cars and pony cars of the 1960s and 1970s. It features a bold Celestial Blue base color with white racing stripes and a Fast Johnnie character applied to the left side of the fuel tank.
This new paint scheme gets its name from the story of a piglet named Johnnie that was adopted in 1920 by Harley racer Ray Weishaar as a team mascot. Johnnie would parade atop a fuel tank for a post-race victory lap, and it’s believed that Johnnie is the source of the “Hog” moniker for Harley-Davidson. The Fast Johnnie character on the left side of the fuel tank for this 2023 paint scheme also appears on the Harley-Davidson factory team’s motorcycles in the King Of The Baggers series.
“The striping graphic effect is a powerful signal to the generation that came of age during this era, and is still impactful today,” said Brad Richards, Harley-Davidson Vice President of Design and Creative Director. “The Celestial Blue base color selected for Fast Johnnie recalls a popular tone from the muscle car era. For the graphic striping, we created a custom white color formulated to authentically reflect the era, executed in a classic thin-wide-thin pattern on the sides and top of the motorcycle bodywork. The look is a nod to pure Americana.”

The Fast Johnnie paint scheme includes Harley-Davidson script on the tank and front fender. Depending on the model, the white striping is applied to the front and rear fenders, the fuel tank top and sides, the front of the fairing, and the side covers and saddlebags. On the rear fender is the Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection logo.
The Road Glide ST and Street Glide ST Fast Johnnie models are also available with color-matching for the King Tour-Pak luggage carrier, Chopped Tour-Pak luggage carrier, and saddlebag speaker lids.
For the Low Rider ST, the Fast Johnnie paint adds $1,900, bringing MSRP to $24,099. The package adds $2,900 to the Road Glide ST and Street Glide ST, bringing MSRP on both models to $32,899. Visit Harley-Davidson’s website for more information.
