Sturgis, S.D., May 10—Memorial Day allows us to honor the sacrifices made by our veterans and those we have loved. The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame in conjunction with the Sturgis Chamber of Commerce will host an Honor Ride on Memorial Day. The ride will start from Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and head to the National Cemetery to pay our respects to those who have served in the Armed Forces. Entry is $10 per bike, pay at the door, includes a Hall of Fame patch & rubber duck and light refreshments.
Ride Schedule: Memorial Day May 28th
9:30-9:45 AM – Doughnuts and coffee
9:45-10:00 AM – Bike lineup in museum’s parking lot
10:00 AM – Boy Scouts will present our nation’s colors and recite the Pledge of Allegence
10:10 AM – Blessing of Bikes by Auggie Minzlaff
10:25 AM – Sturgis Police escort to National Cemetery
11:00 AM – National Cemetery Memorial Day Ceremony
12:00 PM – All riders head up Vanocker Canyon to Mt. Rushmore turn-out
