  1. Opinion:

So I love to ride, short 3-4 hr locals & at lease once a year long trips 1600 to 2500 miles. In short I am a “touring” type. I’m also short! 5’2” . My present bike is. A BMW R 2016 RT with gobs of mods so I can tippy toe with my 27” I seam. The slites slip and I’m down. So I’m now 78 years young and as much as I love my 1200 RT. It’s getting harder to stay upright in a slanted stop or even dead stopped.
So reading about these wonderful new touring bike and some 6’2” tester bragging about the bike can even lower itself to 32” makes me gagge.
So where is the true touring bike that is 500 lbs or less with all the amenities that can lower itself to say 29” or even 28”? Please don’t suggest Harley’s as they are too heavy and guess what?, I cannot even reach the kick stand to drive away.
I fully understand there is not enough of us short guys to justify a radical change, but there are is enough females to justify exploring this concept. They would also be that less intimidated if there were such a bike!!!
