Following years of development and hours of testing, S&S Cycle has finetuned the recently updated Hydraulic Cam Chain Tensioner Kit. A larger piston diameter combined with tighter tolerances for improved stability, direct chain oiling and an increase in the thickness of the shoe material for extended wear has resulted in a superlative option for Twin Cams dating back to 1999. Priced at $129.95 for the
kit, which includes mounting hardware, this is a bolt-in operation for 2006–later Dyna models and 2007–later Big Twins. For earlier models, a conversion upgrade requires the installation of the S&S TC3 Cam Plate and TC3 Oil Pump Kit (sold separately).
