American Rider May 2024

In the May issue of American Rider, we bring you reviews of the thoroughly revamped 2025 Indian Scout lineup. Built around an all-new frame and powered by a mostly new 1,250cc V-Twin, the Scout line consists of five models, including a new 101 Scout with 111 hp, so there’s a lot to explore.

We also bring you a look at “Slow Burn Bike,” a curvaceous bagger built by Game Over Cycles. Our Then Came Bronson feature recalls the 1969-70 TV series starring Michael Parks, whose character quits his day job and explores life aboard a Harley-Davidson Ironhead XL Sportster.

Our feature on Michael Lichter brings you a behind-the-scenes look at the renowned motorcycle photographer, and our southwestern Colorado tour story provides a detailed guide for great motorcycle roads in the area, including the Million Dollar Highway.

In AR Tested, we review the SMK Retro Seven helmet, and our Rumblings section features a race report on the King Of The Baggers races at COTA. Check out Partz for the latest cruising gear, and flip over to Tech Tips to learn all about synthetic oils.

Enjoy the issue, and we’ll see you on the road!
