Blending ergonomic design and superior gel technology with low profile styling, the next generation of motorcycle seats, the RodeMaster ConTour Seat, has just been released by Royal Riding. While premium leather covers, top-grade fiberglass baseplates and powder-coated hardware are standard features on all Royal Riding seats, it’s the ½″ thick viscoelastic molded gel insert combined with the company’s contour-cushioning foam that allows the ConTour to soak up vibration and road shock without bottoming out. They have also built in a center perineal groove in both the rider and passenger sections and carved out a deep tailbone relief area that provides 6 ½″ of rider back support. Ergonomics also maximize airflow for a cooler ride while the narrow nose allows the rider an easier reach to the ground. Fitting a wide range of Harley-Davidson Touring models back to 2008, the ConTour carries a MSRP of $570. A matching backrest is available separately.
