The race-bred focus of the café racers from the 60’s was simple: strip it down and lean it up. And the new Café Custom Accessories for Harley Sportsters is a great way to reach that goal. The Gloss Black Clip-On Handlebars allow the rider to tuck in over the gas tank for an aggressive riding posture. Mounting to the upper fork tubes (39mm, 49mm or 55mm forks) using precision-machined clamps and aircraft grade hardware, these handlebars are fully adjustable for reach and height. They retail for $249.95. The Round Bar End Mirrors complete the cutdown look. Left- and right-hand configurations are sold separately for $99.95 each and require the separate purchase of the Diamond Black Hand Grips ($99.95) for installation. The Rear Set Foot Controls relocates the OEM controls to the passenger foot peg location while retaining the stock shift pattern. Coming in gloss black, that amount of coolness will run you $699.95. And finally the Café Custom Tail Section hearkens back to the 1977–’79 H-D XLCR Café Racer with no frame mods required. The complete kit will set you back $699.95 painted Vivid Black or $549.95 for unpainted. The kit includes the composite tail section (with steel inner support), a fast-back solo seat and all needed installation hardware. The Café Custom Accessories collection is available for a wide range of late-model Sportsters. Contact your dealer for fitment details.
