Indian Motorcycle’s Forged series dropped a terrific new video today, with bike builder Brittney Olsen unveiling an Indian Scout customized for country music singer/songwriter Nikki Lane.
Olsen, an antique motorcycle racer and founder of 20th Century Racing, drew inspiration from the vintage motorcycle era, primarily from Cecelia Adams, who was a trailblazer among female riders in the 1940s and ’50s.
“The historical foundation for my bike build is the early ’40s, early ’50s women riders that would ride Sport Scouts back in the day,” Olsen said.

Starting with a 2025 Indian Sport Scout, Olsen added a hand-built girder front end, a hardtail rear end, Springfield Chieftain tank panels to achieve the teardrop shape of the original Indian Sport Scout, and laced wheels.
Other tasty touches can be found in the vintage-looking Bates sprung seat, a stainless-steel handlebar, an extended rear fender, and a custom stainless exhaust system. It’s capped off by a lovely paint job highlighted with gold and silver leaf applied by Jeremy Pederson.
