There are endless moto-related activities on board, like builders seminars, motorcycle trivia games, and plenty of live music. Like most rallies, the HSR boasts a charitable angle, raising funds for the ill or needy. More than $3 million has been donated to charities over the years of the rally.
“There is never a dull moment and something for everyone,” cruiser Shelly Denny told me. “You already know you have something in common with every single person. It’s a chance to meet new motorcycle friends from all over the country, and it’s jam-packed with activities.”
My critiques about the HSR after my cruise were few: Food is free, but alcohol incurred extra charges, as did internet access. That’s changed for 2025, with both items included in the $1,870 per person charge based on double occupancy. Also, all guests are automatically entered for a chance to win a Harley-Davidson FLTRX Road Glide from Teddy Morse Harley-Davidson.
