The King Of The Baggers will join a testing session with the MotoGP series at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain on November 18. It will mark the first test of Harley-Davidson’s KOTB Road Glide in conjunction with Dorna’s world-championship roadracing series.

MotoAmerica’s King Of The Baggers series was showcased at the MotoGP event at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, last April.

“This is a great opportunity for MotoAmerica and our King Of The Baggers series,” said MotoAmerica President Wayne Rainey prior to the COTA race. “Having our teams and riders compete at a MotoGP event is groundbreaking, and I know the MotoGP fans are going to be surprised and excited about what they see.”

It’s obvious now that MotoGP enjoyed watching the outrageous KOTB bikes at COTA. At next week’s test session, Harley-Davidson rider Kyle Wyman will ride his Screamin’ Eagle Road Glide alongside racing legends such as American John Hopkins, Marco Melandri, and Simon Crafar, who will also be testing race-spec Road Glides.

“Harley-Davidson is an iconic brand, and we are always interested in ways to partner with them to attract more fans to MotoGP, the most exciting sport on Earth,” said Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports.

Harley-Davidson CEO Jochen Zeitz will be at the test and will hold a media briefing about the future global aspirations of Harley-Davidson racing.

“Racing is a core pillar of the Harley-Davidson brand, showcasing our commitment to performance and innovation,” said Zeitz. “Partnering with MotoGP, we aim to expand our racing footprint globally, fueling the passions of our customers and fans. This MotoGP test is a pivotal first step in realizing these ambitions and demonstrating our dedication to racing excellence.”
