The results of the Operation Ride Home charity in 2013 revealed that 356 single service members and those with families—a total of 737 individuals—were able to travel home for the holidays last year courtesy of the charity.  Service members and their families from every branch of service travelled to 43 states and the District of Columbia.

A couple of examples of the program’s impact:

-Senior Airman Jared Singer who flew from his Air Force base in Oklahoma to see his Mom in Bronx, NY, through ORH funds. A clip of his appearance on Fox and Friends can be downloaded here: https://rcpt.hightail.com/2437475208/2776484e64810a51a630819b0d79df6d?cid=tx-02002207350200000000&s=19104

-A first for the Operation Ride Home Program was funds going towards a Marine not only enjoying the holidays, but getting married while home. LCpl Rory Fuller, of 29 Palms, was able to travel to Wisconsin where he married his fiancé Samantha before deploying later this year. Images of his wedding can be seen here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.249014765265932.1073741919.218263785007697&type=1

-Surprising his Grandmother in Seattle WA with a flag flown in in Afghanistan as a tribute to his deceased Grandfather, was Marine Cpl. Mobley who travelled with his family of four from the Marine Corps Air Combat Air Ground Combat Center in 29 Palms.

All funds of this motorcycle customized by Klock Werks are going to support the program, plus the fact that “007” is the lowest VIN publically available for this historic time in the brand should make for an exciting time on the auction block.
