Harley-Davidson Road Glides have been winning races in the King Of The Baggers series at tracks across the U.S. since 2021. With several years of racing development under its belt, the American V-Twin brand heads to distant shores for 2026 for the inaugural season of the Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup.

This series was officially announced at the 2025 EICMA show in Milan, along with the full race schedule, a series logo, and a prototype race bike. The first three teams have also been announced, with more teams to follow. The series will run alongside MotoGP Grand Prix events in six countries throughout the year.

The race-prepared Road Glide that was revealed featured the series’ new logo. The bike weighs about 617 lb, produces more than 200 hp, and can exceed 186 mph.

The three teams that have already been announced are Saddlemen Racing, Joe Rascal Racing, and Cecchini Racing, and the series hopes to add at least three more teams for a field of 12-16 riders.
Saddlemen Racing from the U.S. is led by David Echert and competes in the MotoAmerica King Of The Baggers series, so it brings some bagger know-how to the international stage. Joe Rascal Racing from Australia is led by James Tonna and has a foundation in high-end motorcycle retail and racing operations. Cecchini Racing from Italy is led by Fabrizio Cecchini and has a 30-year history in MotoGP.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the first teams that have secured their spots in the inaugural season of the Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup,” said Kolja Rebstock, senior vice president for international markets, Harley-Davidson Motor Company. “Since the initial announcement of the series, we’ve seen tremendous interest from well-established and respected organizations.”
Regarding the teams for the inaugural series, Rebstock says, “We’ve designed the series to feature between six and eight teams, for a total of 12 to 16 riders, and with these first three agreements, we’ve already filled almost half the grid. It’s a strong signal that confirms the momentum and excitement surrounding this project. We’re moving quickly to bring this championship to life and can’t wait to hit the track in 2026. It’s going to be loud, competitive, and unlike anything fans have ever seen before.”

The schedule includes six double-header events, starting in late March and ending in September with a championship round. See the full schedule below, and visit the Harley-Davidson website for more information.
