Back in March, we published an announcement about Harley-Davidson’s Let’s Ride Challenge – Ride for Heroes, a seven-month-long event to support a variety of charities to aid military, veterans, and first responders. The event, which closed Oct. 31, far exceeded its goal, so Harley-Davidson has announced a $1 million donation to those organizations.

The Let’s Ride Challenge – Ride for Heroes event asked participants to rack up miles on their Harley-Davidson motorcycles for a chance to win one of five new Harleys. Throughout the riding season, participants stopped in at Harley-Davidson dealers across the country to log their new mileage and collect keywords, which added toward their Rev Score. The highest Rev Score in five tiers will win the new bikes.
For the 2025 event, more than 29,000 participants joined in, collecting a total of 83.4 million miles, surpassing the goal of 50 million miles. Harley-Davidson reports that the average participant logged 3,500 miles, and more than 2,300 participants logged more than 10,000 miles.

“The Harley-Davidson community is always ready to step up to support those who keep us safe and free,” said Theo Keetell, Harley-Davidson vice president of marketing. “The Let’s Ride Challenge – Ride for Heroes combined fun with purpose, and Harley-Davidson was overwhelmed with the positive response. It’s with great pride that the company will make this donation to these very worthy organizations on behalf of all the riders who participated.”
The organizations that will receive funding from the challenge include 1 Soldier 1 Dog 1 Team, American Legion Riders, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Hanks for Our Troops, Motorcycle Missions, National Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers, Rolling Thunder, Wounded Warrior Project, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

The winners of the new motorcycles will be announced soon. The tiers and prize bikes are as follows:
- Silver Tier Grand Prize (1-2,500 miles) – Harley-Davidson Nightster
- Gold Tier Grand Prize Motorcycle (2,501 – 4,000 miles) – Harley-Davidson Street Bob
- Platinum Grand Prize Motorcycle (4,001 – 5,500 miles) – Harley-Davidson Fat Boy
- Diamond Tier Grand Prize Motorcycle (5,501 – 7,500 miles) – Harley-Davidson Street Glide
- Black & Orange Tier Grand Prize Motorcycle (7,501+ miles) – 2025 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide
Congrats to Harley-Davidson and all participants for a successful challenge. Visit the H-D Let’s Ride website for more information.
