The idea of roadracing baggers fits in perfectly with Roland Sands, a former national-level racer himself before launching his Roland Sands Design parts and apparel company. Indian has produced this new video that provides terrific insight into the RSD operation and its efforts racing an Indian Challenger in the King Of The Baggers series.
The video brings us behind the scenes as the RSD team prepares and races the Challenger, with interviews of Sands, his right-hand-man Cameron Brewer, and his rider Frankie Garcia. Garcia’s section is both humorous and poignant, riffing on the rider’s non-racer physique and the unexpected passing of his brother last summer.
Episode 2 of Indian’s “Defending the Crown” series is a really strong document of the RSD KOTB program and the people behind it. Definitely worth a look.
