This month I admit to being Driftless

In a stunning region off any ancient glacial route

The 125-mile meandering river is described in Algonquin

As “one who goes there, then here,” so the compass is moot.

This place is a slice of the past with Amish newcomers (1970)

Natural agriculture methods are the rule ‘and’ the norm

Organic Valley shares their landscape for the K-county fair

And Grandma’s Cottage on the lily-named farm is a mighty sweet dorm

Highways 131 and 82 converge here

Phil & Deb’s on W. Main pulls the town tap

Beauty, charm, great roads and the funny named river

With all this village offer, for me, this is where it’s at!
