St. Petersburg, Fla.—ChopperExchange, the largest American V-twin motorcycle classifieds website in the United States, was recently acquired by Kapok Marketing, a marketing agency co-founded by Jake Braun and Mirela Setkic. Both Jake and Mirela were previously employed by Marco Polo Publications, the former parent company of ChopperExchange, where they served as the company’s Chief Information Officer and Operations Manager, respectively.

The acquisition of ChopperExchange is a dream come true for both Jake and Mirela. Both began their career with ChopperExchange’s former parent company right out of college and worked their way up to senior management positions prior to co-founding Kapok Marketing. According to Mirela, “It is still surreal. Who would have thought that eleven years later I would be one of the co-owners of ChopperExchange? It is crazy, but, as they say, you have to risk it to get the biscuit.”

ChopperExchange generates sales leads for motorcycle dealerships and private sellers nationwide. The website harnesses the power of its massive motorcycle rider client base, social media presence with more than 700,000 followers, and sophisticated lead generation processes to help motorcycle enthusiasts buy and sell new and pre-owned American V-twin motorcycles fast and at a very reasonable cost. The website also prides itself on its simple and easy-to-use features.

Kapok Marketing also acquired CycleCrunch, a classifieds website for all motorcycle makes and models, which was launched as a sister website of ChopperExchange in 2012.

As the new owners, Jake and Mirela are looking forward to growing both ChopperExchange and CycleCrunch, and offering new and exciting services for both motorcycle dealers and consumers.
