Harley Davidson of Washington, D.C., the official dealership of Rolling Thunder, will present week-long events to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Rolling Thunder, from Wednesday May 24th through Tuesday, May 30th, 2017.

Thousands will converge at the official Rolling Thunder Reunion Site and Dealership located at 9407 Livingston Road, Fort Washington, MD, to celebrate this significant milestone. Lieutenant James Downing (104 years old), the second oldest living survivor of the Pearl Harbor attack, will be speaking. The bikers’ arrival will be announced by the roar of their motorcycles, a sound not unlike the 1965 bombing campaign against North Vietnam dubbed Operation Rolling Thunder. Their message is to remember the past, while protecting future Veterans should they become a Prisoner of War-Missing in Action.

Harley Davidson of Washington, D.C. (H-D of Washington, D.C) is the official reunion spot and dealership for Rolling Thunder. This annual event attracts thousands of participants and spectators from chartered chapters nationwide. Annually, H-D of Washington, D. C’s Rolling Thunder Open House brings together 5000+ bikers and is one of the most anticipated Memorial Day weekend events in the region. This year’s crowd is expected to be the largest to date for the 30th anniversary of Rolling Thunder.

Thousands will be attending the Official Rolling Thunder Open House on Saturday May 27th featuring: An address by Rolling Thunder, Inc. National Executive Director, Artie Muller along with additional Rolling Thunder and Harley-Davidson Executives. Free Famous Dave’s Barbecue will be served at noon, and the program will feature a live performance by singer/songwriter and U.S. Army Veteran, Rockie Lynne. Back by popular demand, The American Bombshells will perform an all-American show that boosts morale and inspires love of country.

The events and tributes include: a Tiki bar; music; cigars; food trucks; raffles; prizes; bikini bike wash; professional detailer on site; free, multi-point service inspections. Additionally, the official Rolling Thunder 30th Anniversary Pin and T-Shirts will only be available through H-D of Washington.
