Have you written any books? I have read a few of your articles in THUNDER PRESS and would like to read more like that. The trip to Alaska sounded interesting. It’s the kind wanderlust I always had. Never been there but I may some day. The part about worrying over the draft was very real. I never joined and I never got drafted. It was timing. I was the right age, right birthday and my last name started with “W.” I’ve had other adventures though and plan to have more.

Yes, there is a book in the works and I hope that it will be for sale by the end of the year. Thanks for the comments about my column, however remember, the title is Almost Fiction which means that some of it is almost true.
