Wichita, Kan., Sep. 16—The ride stopped early in advance of it’s Wichita, Kansas goal due to day three of heavy rains. With the rest of the day cancelled due to do weather, Jim Feeney announced on the official Motorcycle Cannonball website that, “Anyone making it to the lunch stop received credit for all 250 miles of today’s route.” All bikes were hauled by trailer to Wichita without penalty to make up for the 120-mile short stop.
