Sturgis Buffalo Chip continues to add musical artists to its 2025 lineup. Following the addition of Nickelback announced on March 11, the Chip has now announced that Stone Temple Pilots will be performing on the Wolfman Jack Stage on Friday, Aug. 8. Other musical acts so far include Jason Aldean, Five Finger Death Punch, ZZ Top, and the Gene Simmons Band.
In addition to music, the 85th annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally will include charity rides, stunt shows, bike shows, the Motorcycles As Art exhibit, games and contests, vendors, demo rides, racing, and plenty more.

Sturgis, SD (March 18, 2025): Rock icons Stone Temple Pilots are coming to throw down at the Largest Music Festival in Motorcycling on Friday, Aug. 8. STP brings the party and the recognizable tunes to the Wolfman Jack Stage for the final Friday of the Sturgis Rally and joins an impressive lineup of artists including Nickelback, Jason Aldean, Five Finger Death Punch, ZZ Top, KISS’ Gene Simmons, and many more. Eight-time platinum-selling rock legends Stone Temple Pilots have certainly made an indelible mark on generations of rock music fans. Buffalo Chip’s guests will experience the same blend of crunching riffs, powerful melodies, and psychedelic flair that made STP one of the most popular acts of the ’90s. Signature hits like “Plush,” “Creep,” “Big Empty,” “Vasoline,” “Interstate Love Song,” and “Big Bang Baby,” as well as tracks from their most recent sonic adventure Perdida will shake the Wolfman Jack Stage at the 85th anniversary of the Sturgis Rally.
