Philanthropist and motorcycle enthusiast Adam Sandoval named Grand Marshall of May 12 AFT race in Phoenix

Phoenix, Ariz., May 3—Adam Sandoval, well known for his charitable work to raise awareness for U.S. Veterans suffering from P.T.S.D. has been named Grand Marshall of the 2018 Law Tigers American Flat Track Arizona Mile presented by Buddy Stubbs Harley-Davidson.

“There isn’t a better choice for Grand Marshall of the Arizona Mile than Adam Sandoval. He has an unmatched passion for motorcycles and uses this energy to raise money and bring awareness to our military families. He has dedicated his life to these causes and does so by riding around the country on his Harley-Davidson. We are very proud to have Adam’s involvement in this year’s race,” said event co-promoter Charlie Frank.

“It is an honor to be part of the Arizona Mile and the American Flat Track series. I’m really looking forward to the racing,” said Grand Marshall Adam Sandoval.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2018 Law Tigers American Flat Track Arizona Mile presented by Buddy Stubbs Harley-Davidson at ArizonaMile.com. The race happens May 12 at Turf Paradise as the Phoenix track welcomes two-wheeled horsepower. The Law Tigers Arizona Mile is the first Mile event on the 2018 AFT national championship schedule, and it’s sure to be a bare-knuckled brawl in both the AFT Twins presented by Vance and Hines and AFT Singles classes.

Adam has brought to life a number of projects that benefit veterans including Mission Thank You and ScootinAmerica. ScootinAmerica stemmed from his passion for riding motorcycles and was fueled by his regret of not choosing to serve in the military. With his canine co-pilot named Scooter, Adam Sandoval completed his mission to visit every Harley-Davidson dealership in the lower 48 states in-order-to raise money and awareness for our military veterans and their families. This was an epic motorcycle adventure that began in November 2014 and after two years on the road and over 80,000 miles—Adam and Scooter completed this incredible task and raised over $300,000 in donations.

Another project, Mission Thank You, awarded eight new Harley-Davidson motorcycles on Veteran’s Day to very worthy veterans. You can learn more about Adam’s work at AdamSandovalRides.com. Please support our Grand Marshall in his selfless projects that highlight and support our military members and their families.

Adam will be riding his Harley-Davidson during the opening ceremonies for this year’s race. He loves hearing from motorcycle racing fans so please stop by the Throw Back Party and meet this true hero, face-to-face.

There’s a lot more to see and experience over and above the racing action, too. This year’s ’70s/’80s ‘Throwback’ party theme means you can break out your best Evel Knievel or On Any Sunday T-shirts and boogie to a live band, take part in the ‘70s/’80s costume contest, enjoy the vintage motorcycle show, and check out the vendor row with great brands and items.

Tickets for this year’s event are on sale now at www.ArizonaMile.com.
