April is a busy month for motorcyclists in Arizona. Not only is the weather perfect for riding, but two of the biggest motorcycle events in the country are also scheduled for April in the beautiful state of Arizona. Arizona Bike Week kicks off on April 6–10 in Scottsdale and the Phoenix BikeFest kicks off on April 7–April 10 in Phoenix. Law Tigers is proud to be a sponsor of both incredible motorcycle events this year.
April in Arizona is one of the most beautiful months to ride. The weather is warmer, there is less rain in the forecast, and there are endless days of sunshine. While bikers in other states are still brushing snow from their boots, motorcyclists in Arizona can enjoy daily riding, with temperatures averaging 86 degrees in the daytime and only 60 degrees at night. As such, this year, Arizona will host two very large motorcycling rallies to usher in the riding season.
Arizona Bike Week
If you are in the Scottsdale area, you can take part in Arizona Bike Week. There will be daily motorcycle rides that are self-guided and at your own pace, live music, and incredible food. Be sure to stop by the Rally Roadhouse and Handlebar Saloon for happy hour before heading over to other venues to hear some incredible live music. Some of the headlining rock bands this year include Warrant, Blues Traveler, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, RATT, and Buckcherry.
There will also be FMX freestyle motocross extreme stunt shows and King Tony’s Busted Knuckles Stunt Tour sponsored by Law Tigers. The Busted Knuckles Stunt Tour is a kick-ass daredevil thrill show that is performed solely on Harley-Davidson motorcycles. You’ll see wheelies, burnouts, and acrobatic performances that will make your jaw drop!
Phoenix BikeFest
If you live in the Phoenix area, you can head over to the Phoenix BikeFest that same weekend. There will be poker runs, factory demo rides, the Phoenix BikeFest Bike Show, a fashion show, and live music every day. On Saturday, April 9, be sure to enter into the Beard and Tattoo contest before heading out to hear Metalhead perform. Afterwards, stick around while they crown Miss Phoenix BikeFest 2016. Admission to Phoenix BikeFest is free!
Buddy Stubbs Harley-Davidson Bike Week Bash
Saturday April 9, 12:00 p.m.
The Buddy Stubbs Bike Week Bash is one of the greatest events of Phoenix Bikefest and Arizona Bike Week and this year will be no exception! Admission is always free. Featuring: Two Acre Miller Lite Beer Garden, 3 Amigos Margaritas, Arizona Distilling mixed drinks, bikini contest, great food, vendors, museum tours, ample parking, free shuttle service.
Live music will fill the air all day from Tridon, The Walkins, Pete Cummings Band and the Ryan Sims Band! In addition, one lucky person in attendance will win a 2016 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 with custom paint by Sinthium, given away live on-stage!
