Three-time AMA Grand National Champion Jay Springsteen returns to the track this year to face off against nine-time national champion Scott Parker, in Clash of the Titans III at this year’s Sacramento Mile on Saturday, May 21.

Jay Springsteen is considered one of the best AMA Grand National flat track racers of all time. He has been winning AMA awards since 1975 when he broke through the pack to win AMA Rookie of the Year. At the 1982 Sacramento Mile he became the first rider to reach 30 wins in AMA Grand National competitions.

Scott Parker’s extraordinary career landed him nine titles and 94 national wins, making in the all-time leader in championships and wins in AMA Grand National history when he retired in 2000. The King of the Mile won the illustrious AMA Athlete of the Year Award three times during his racing career.

With May 21 just around the corner, fans are gearing up to see the two racing legends of Clash of the Titans III, go head to head at the 51st running of the Sacramento Mile at Cal Expo. Springsteen is currently undefeated in Clash of the Titans.
