Pulling double duty
Following on the heels of their successful Power Pod, Formotion introduces an upgraded version, the Power Pod 2. A remote power outlet that can be installed virtually anywhere on a bike, the Power Pod 2 offers a traditional 12-volt cigarette lighter power outlet that will supply electricity to an iPod, cell phone, laptop or even a blender—almost any device that has a cigarette-lighter adaptor. The doubled efficiency of the revised Pod 2 is the new two-prong SAE outlet located on the bottom of the Power Pod that provides a connection for heated clothing. And since the Power Pod 2 is hardwired to the bike’s battery, the SAE outlet can also be used as a direct link to connect a trickle charger or battery tender. Machined from steel and show-chromed, the product’s rugged quality is ensured by use of a shockproof mechanism and a weatherproof case. The $119.95 price tag includes a universal mounting bracket (an optional P-mount to attach the unit to your handlebars is also available), five feet of wiring and an in-line 20-amp fuse.

Rack and ride
If your garage is anything like most, you have an abundance of “extra” gear you have to constantly shift from one side of the shop to another. And those are mainly quick-disconnect items not always mounted on the bike—windshields, tour packs and back rests. In an effort to help you keep from scratching all those expensive goodies, BadAssBagger has developed Jacks Racks, an inexpensive way to hang those touring pieces on the wall and out of harm’s way until that extended road trip comes calling again. A spooky reflection
Well known in the industry for their Eagle Talon line of kickstands and footpegs, Image Motorcycle Products is proud to announce the release of their new Skeleton Web Mirrors. It is the second design in their lineup of sculpted mirrors, each featuring a realistic skeletal ulna and radius (forearm bones) and hand. The hand bones grasp the mirror frame, which is accented with cast spider webbing on the backside. The mirrors pivot for adjustment at the wrist bones. The entire assembly is cast in 17-4 stainless steel, which then receives a high polished finish, eliminating the possibility of peeling chrome. The price tag of $390 per pair also carries a money-back guarantee against breakage for life. A single mirror is offered at $195 for those of you only half evil.

Deep-dish pan
The gurus at Baker Drivetrain have a passion for transmissions. It’s a tunnel vision of sorts that continues to develop innovative products for their own product line and improve on existing stock designs. Their latest brainstorming has resulted in the Plus-One Oil Pan designed to retrofit ’93–’08 FL Harleys that have the oil pan attached to the bottom of the transmission. And tunnel vision never looked so good: a larger pan that holds an additional full quart of oil (a 20 percent increase), a relocation of the feed and return ports so they are on opposite ends of the pan (instead of next to each other, increasing the cooling effect) and cooling ribs on the bottom of the pan (to further disperse heat). But they didn’t stop there. The P1P also has a mounting boss incorporated allowing for the installation of an Alloy Art TXR FLT swingarm stabilizer that aids in preventing wobble during turns. Prices vary depending on finish and style: cast polished, silver or black powder coat or billet chrome.

On the lowdown
Good news for all you inseam-challenged owners of 2002–2008 Harley FLHT, FLHR and FLTR models. Pingel has just come out with a Rear Lowering Kit for late model Milwaukee touring machines. Machined from billet steel, the kit relocates your bottom shock mount, lowering the rear of your bike by 1″ (leaving adequate clearance between a stock tire and fender) and providing a lower center of gravity to aid in handling. The kit’s design also allows for the retention of the stock rubber shock boot. The brackets retail for $129.95 per pair and include needed hardware and instructions. Installation time is approximately 30 minutes using common tools.

Sleek chic

Constructed of midweight leather with a poly-satin lining, the Charisma features an action back, zippered cuffs and precurved sleeves. The mandarin collar eliminates excessive wind flap while the adjustable lacing on the back provides a custom fit.
