The tragedy of Lehman Trikes suspending business operations recently was short-lived, as Champion Trikes stepped up to acquire the marque and keep the three wheels turning. And the first fruit of that happy development are these Hawg EFX Running Boards for Harley-Davidson Trikes produced at the Lehman factory in Spearfish, South Dakota. These running boards are fabricated from composite material and supported by a steel subframe for serious load bearing. They attach to the fenders and provide vibration dampening in addition to weather protection. They open up a good deal of foot room for touring comfort, and give both operator and passenger a broad step for easy mounting. They retail for $968 unpainted, but can be color-matched to any H-D factory paint job.
