The newest product in Barnett’s line of high-performance clutch components is the lock-up pressure plate for all Harley-Davidson FL Touring models with Milwaukee-Eight engines, and it also fits 2013-plus models with slip/assist clutches (except Softails).
Made in the USA, the one-piece hard-anodized billet pressure plate guarantees no flex and optimal durability. Weighted arms apply a progressive increase of pressure as the engine revs up. Two sets of chrome silicon heat-treated and preset no-sag springs are included for different pressure options.
The lock-up pressure plate fits under the O.E. primary cover and is available for cable (#618-30-23017) and hydraulic (#618-30-23017) applications. Barnett says the pressure plate works well with O.E. clutches, but maximum performance is promised with the addition of its replacement clutch (#303-30-10019). High-powered engines would benefit from Barnett’s extra-plate clutch kit (#304-30-10020).
