Really enjoyed the piece you wrote for THUNDER PRESS in the November issue. I live in Visalia and have watched the Basque and their trained dogs tend to their sheep in the Central Valley for years. Your writings continue to bring great enjoyment when I pick up a copy of Thunder Press.
On a side note, I’m still waiting on the book you have been promising for a number of years now. Hope to see it sometime soon. Take care!

Thanks for the comments. By the way, there is a spectacular Basque restaurant in Winnemucca, Nevada. called The Martin Hotel. It is almost good enough for a trip to Winnemucca.
As for the “book,” I now have three books being read by an agent but no one seems to be in any hurry and I am not interested in taking the offer. Sooo?
