Lighten up

Don’t let Mom catch ya
Rubber-mount Harleys have long been susceptible to rear wheel steer and the instability it causes, and Rivera Primo has a fix for the problem in the form of a Stiffey. Seriously. The Stiffey is actually a pair of high-quality bushings that mount under each pillow block and onto the pivot shaft. The unit also comes with a set of shims that are model-specific. The Stiffey is an easy install using basic shop tools, although dropping the exhaust and removing the passenger floorboards is required. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty and carries a price tag of $107.48—cheap insurance in preventing high-speed wobbles and keeping your bike where it belongs—on the road.

Küryakyn’s original Boss Blades offered a wide, deep-dished pulling surface to aid in actuation, and now with their new Boss Blades with Adjustable Clutch Lever they’ve ratcheted up the comfort level by using a unique design that allows the clutch cable anchor point to be adjustable. A control knob on top of the clutch lever varies the anchor point incrementally, permitting the lever to be adjusted closer to the handgrip (up to 3/4″ at the tip) and providing an easier reach and pull. Digital defense
Although Kemco Manufacturing started as a company specializing in jigs and fixtures, the owners’ outside interests in motorcycling have recently led to several bike-related inventions, their latest being these Handy Guards. Made from 16-gauge steel with a double powder-coat finish to match the matte black of stock Harley control perches, they are just large enough to protect from the cold and road debris without detracting from your bike’s appearance. Cool tool
Coming to the aid of owners of late-model baggers and Dynas, the new JIMS Dipstick Socket No. 759 allows the quick and burn-free removal of the engine oil dipsticks that reside dangerously close to the rear exhaust pipe. It’s constructed from Delrin, a polyacetal thermoplastic with a high degree of stiffness and excellent dimensional stability, making it ideally suited for use in this product. It features a 3/8″ square hole for a ratchet attachment and a 7/8″ hex for a socket or wrench fitment. It also has a cutout that allows for clearance around the exhaust.
