Extreme conditions require extreme response, and with the new breed of Harley Twin Cams noted for running a tad on the hot side, The Motor Company offers their new Screamin’ Eagle High Capacity Oil Pan. This new cast aluminum unit holds a whopping 1.5 quarts more than the OEM housing’s capacity, resulting in more oil staying in the pan longer and a reduction in operating temperature. Aiding with the cooling chores, internal baffles redirect the hot oil to a heat-conducting, ribbed aluminum sump for further heat dissipation. This new design also relocates the oil drain plug to the side for easier access. The kit includes the oil pan and gasket, and will fit all 2009-later Touring models (except the Trike). The MSRP is $599.95—plus the cost of a couple extra quarts of oil.
