Ring of bling
The company’s name is Hell’s Foundry, and they are indeed located close to Hell, Michigan, and they’re best known for their plush Soft Dash interior FL fairing panels that we like a lot. And now they’ve turned their attention to outward appearances with the Chrome Headlight Surround for Harley Road Glides. These units replace the acrylic window—through which the headlamps beam in stock trim—with a bold splash of hey-look-at-me chrome dazzle. Installation is a momentary operation requiring a single screwdriver. It’ll fit all Road Glides and costs $249.95.

High roller
While Heartland USA has had a long love affair with the entirety of Harley’s Softail platform, they’ve taken a special interest in the Rockers— the FXCW and FXCWC—virtually since the unique creations rolled onto the market in 2008. They’ve designed a host of custom upgrades and innovations for the models and to that collection they’ve now added the 21-Inch Front Fender for Harley-Davidson Rocker Models. This fender facilitates the retrofitting of a retro-style 21-inch front wheel and tire to the bike, giving it the true chopper profile it seems to scream for. The $299 fender’s made of heavy gauge steel and is a direct bolt-on replacement.

Top drawer
With Harley-Davidson’s new Premium Tour-Pak Rack Bag you can add a good deal of well-organized, easily-accessible carrying capacity to your Touring mount. The interior of this ballistic nylon suitcase has three zippered mesh pockets, and the exterior has a pair of zippered pockets for your road requisites, and the bag attaches with quick-release clips to make it a grab-and-go proposition to check in at your lodgings. The Rack Bag also has a built-in rain cover, and a removable shoulder strap. It’s a handsome piece that will allow you to go from King of the Highway to Lord of the Lobby when registering at the Hyatt at the end of a long day and, rather than horsing in a ragtag armload of tote sacks and loose gear, carrying a classy grip. A sweet deal at $229.95.

Gas kit
Into every carburetor’s life a little rebuilding must fall, and when it’s time to do the deal on your venerable Keihin CV—the workhorse of the post-1988 Evolution era—you can simplify the procedure with the Keihin Carburetor Overhaul Gasket and Seal Kit, the latest addition to a near-bewildering catalogue of Harley-specific sealing products from James Gaskets. In this kit you’ll find all pertinent seals and gaskets to spruce up both your carb and your intake, including the accelerator pump bits. Less tangibly, but most importantly, you’ll be rebuilding with the peace of mind provided by the company’s successful 30-year campaign to keep Harleys from leaking.

Stretching the point
First developed for the 2009 CVO Road Glide, the Saddlebag Extension Kit for Harley-Davidson 2004-present Touring models adds a deep tapered appearance to stock hard bags, wrapping around the mufflers in the rear for a contemporary custom bagger look. Like the hard bags, these extensions are constructed of sturdy ABS, and are supplied in primer-ready finish. Installation hardware is included in the kit, and the price of this convincing custom makeover is $299.95.

Handling the pressure
The B-MAC Bagger Mini Air Control System from Custom Cycle Control Systems takes the hassle and the guesswork out of adjusting the air pressure in the air-assist rear shocks of your Harley bagger. Admirably compact, easy to operate, and quick to access with a twist of the Dzus fasteners on your saddlebag, the B-MAC lets you air-up or bleed-off your suspension in precise increments displayed by the integrated air pressure gauge face. Installation is a relatively simple matter of clamping the mini-compressor to a shock, plumbing in the air tubes with quick-release fittings, and running juice to the unit—a 15-minute operation, we’re told. Once installed, it’s a pushbutton procedure to perfectly tune your shocks to your riding and packing situation. The kit runs $299.95.

Beauty and the boost
If you can stop riding the thing long enough to consider all of its possibilities, you might want to consider fleshing out your XR1200’s naked sportbike potential with this dark, sinuous, and flat-out sexy Widow XR 2-1-2 Exhaust System from Vance & Hines. Not only does this system pay big dividends in the looks department, it delivers serious punch in the power department, boosting horsepower across the entire range to redline, but particularly where it matters for you canyon carvers, adding 14 hp at 6000 RPM. That improvement is achieved through the combination of performance-tuned headers, a Power Chamber crossover, and high-flow mufflers that, reportedly, deliver a seriously gnarly growl. The system costs $649.95.

Supersized side
In response to the proverbial popular demand, the craftsmen at Garage Leather have introduced their new Skully Bag, an expanded version of their popular Solo Bag. These bags mount on the left side frame rails of rigid chassis or on the A-section swingarm of Softail models, keeping the load down low and imparting a distinctive old-school attitude to the bike. The Skully has 20 percent more capacity than its predecessor, and brings some subtle improvements to the configuration as well, including quick-release buckles and nylon attachment straps. Handcrafted of tough 10-ounce leather, the Skully Bags are available in either black or brown finishes, and retail for $235.

Clothing option
Expanding your road wardrobe without taxing your limited packing capacity just got simpler with the release of this Men’s Cedar Pass Reversible Jacket from the clothiers at Harley-Davidson’s MotorClothes. One side of this versatile garment is the eerily GI olive cotton canvas with snap pockets shown here. The reverse side is faced with a black nylon/cotton blend, and has pockets as well. Both sides are adorned with Motor Company graphics, and the price of the jacket is $160, which is a real twofer bargain.
