Harley shook up the heavyweight motorcycle world last fall with the introduction of their first completely new engine since the release of the Twin Cam in 1988, the Milwaukee-Eight. In an effort to supply M-8 owners with even greater performance without sacrificing warranty coverage, reliability or ride-ability, The Motor Company has just released the new street-legal Screamin’ Eagle Milwaukee-Eight Stage IV Kit for both the 107 and 114 c.i. models. Claiming to boost horsepower to a whopping 52 percent over stock while gaining “stump-pulling torque,” some of the kit’s components include CNC ported heads with performance
springs, a massive 64mm throttle body (stock is 55mm), high-flow injectors, 4.075-inch cylinders, high-compression aluminum-coated pistons, a SE8-515 cam and high-performance tappets. To handle the additional power, the kit also comes with Screamin’ Eagle High Capacity Clutch Springs and Plates. The kit will increase M-8 107 engines to 114 cubic inches and take the M-8 114 up to 117. Available for all 2017-later H-D models equipped with either air/oil cooled or Twin-Cooled Milwaukee-Eight engines, all kits carry the same price tag of $2,595.95 excluding taxes, shipping and labor costs for installation.
