Charity Helps Veterans In Need

One of the coolest events of the season is always the Riding Into History Concours at the famed Golf Hall of Fame near St. Augustine, Florida, each May. This year’s event, themed “The Great American Motorcycle,” was once again in support of the K9s For Warriors, an amazing charity that links military vets with post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma with service dogs that often make the difference between life and death – as suicide continues to be a major cause of death among vets.

RIH’s 2019 event raised a whopping $50,000 for this life-changing charity, and through the generosity of a private donor that amount was doubled to a full $100,000. The K9s For Warrior program has not only saved more than 1,000 animals (and trained them to be service dogs) over the years, it’s also saved the lives of hundreds of our precious warriors, all of whom deserve our respect and our help.
