Indian Motorcycle has announced its “Wrecking Crew” of racers to compete in the 2025 King Of The Baggers series, upping the ante with three factory riders this year. Troy Herfoss, the 2024 champion, will lead the Indian charge, along with two-time champ Tyler O’Hara. Joining these two proven KOTB racers will be French roadracer Loris Baz, who has experience in World Superbike and MotoGP.
Herfoss began King Of The Baggers racing in 2024, and the three-time Australian Superbike champ amazed fans by taking two runner-up spots behind Harley-Davidson’s Kyle Wyman in the double-header opening events in Daytona. Herfoss continued to impress, scoring seven wins, seven 2nd-place finishes, and one 3rd-place finish in 2024. He finished on the podium in all but three races, ending up with the coveted KOTB championship.

Tyler O’Hara returns to the team with two KOTB championships under his belt, including the class’s inaugural race in 2020, followed by a second championship win in 2022. O’Hara finished the 2024 series tied for 3rd with Hayden Gillim and Rocco Landers. O’Hara has proven himself to be a fierce competitor and returns for his sixth KOTB season.

Newcomer Loris Baz from France joins the Wrecking Crew team with experience in MotoGP, World Superbike, and MotoAmerica’s Superbike class. His racing accolades include winning the European Superstock 1000 Championship title in 2008 during his rookie year in the series.
“The King of the Baggers series has had my attention since it began, and to be a part of it as a member of the legendary Indian Motorcycle Wrecking Crew is truly an honor,” said Baz. “Racing Superbike, I’ve seen first-hand what Troy and Tyler have accomplished aboard the S&S Indian Challenger, and I’m thrilled to be joining this championship team as we chase another title together in 2025.”

Indian will also support two satellite teams in 2025. Cameron Petersen will race the SDI Racing Indian Challenger, and Kyle Ohnsorg will return to compete on the TAB Performance Racing Indian Challenger. Additionally, Indian is offering more than $80,000 and a new 2025 Indian Challenger Dark Horse for its privateer contingency program.
The 2025 King Of The Baggers series kicks off March 6 at Daytona International Speedway during Daytona Bike Week. Visit the MotoAmerica website for more information, and stay up to date on all King Of The Baggers news and race results on American Rider’s Competition page.
